Began diving with out-of-date gears 1966, an uncomfortable brass-helmet and rubber suit, while Otto had up-to-date gear. His love for sea comes from his grandfather in Pomerania, he taught Karl all about the fish in Germany, their life and behaviour. Little-Karl couldn't guess that one day he would be a famous UW - photographer.
With his Leicina Special he won several national and international prizes and merit. His many silver and bronze medals are a living proof of his talent and skills. Kalle later moved from 8-mm home-movie equipment to photographs and is at the moment very active. He photographs yearly in German and Scandinavian waters and travels at least twice a year to tropical hemispheres, such as Irian Jaya and the Molucian.
His experience is in reach of everybody, feel free to contact him!
