Today, we received a letter from Krung Thai Bank concerning our
application for waiving of international charges for sponsorship payments
to the orphans.
The letter from the Bank's Vice President of Payment & Settlement
Operations Office, Mrs. Poungpetch Panadis, informed us that the Bank will
"waive completely the inward commission and cable charge for inward
remittance" for all the orphans' accounts.
We would like to thank the Senior Executive Management Committee and Mrs.
Poungpetch Panadis for their help and genrous gesture and would like to
point out that Krung Thai Bank has been the first of Thailand's Banks that
have waived charges for Tsunami victims. Who says that banking
institutions have no heart? |
